Broccoli Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 bunches broccoli, cut into small pieces
  • 6 slices of cooked bacon broken into small pieces
  • 1/2 medium red onion diced
  • 1 C mayo
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 2 Tbls. vinegar

Directions:

Mix together. Chill for several hours but not overnight (mayo).

Comments:

This one was from Suzanne Sheffield. I’m wondering about why we can’t chill it overnight due to the mayo. That confuses me since mayo is stored in the fridge. Bob has taken to making a broccoli salad with raisins, carrot matchsticks, and cheese.
