Orange Delight

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz package of Orange Jello
  • 1 C boiling water
  • 1 C mini-marshmallows
  • 1/3 C sugar
  • 8 oz block of cream cheese
  • 3 oz can crushed pineapple
  • 12 oz Cool Whip
  • 1 C chopped pecans – save some to put on top

Directions:

Boil water and stir Jello and Marshmellos until dissolved.

In another bowl, cream together 1/3 cup sugar and a block of cream cheese.

Add the 3-oz. can of crushed pineapple and mix.

Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans and mix.

Add Jello mixture and Mix Well.

Add 12 oz Cool Whip. Combine. Pour into a serving bowl and top with the rest of the chopped pecans. Chill 4 hours before serving.

From Kathy who spends time in Montana, but calls Tennesse home. This is a fabulous potluck or BBQ dish to share. Kathy blew away me and Bob by not just saying, “Yes of course I’ll give you the recipe.” She added, “Hand me a pen and paper.” Then she proceeded to write this whole thing in perfect penmanship before Marcus pulled the shrimp off the grill.
