Ingredients:
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 9 oz. cool whip
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding
- 1 lb. can crushed pineapple
- 1 C milk
- 1 small can shredded coconut
- 1 8oz. package cream cheese
- Crushed walnuts
- Cherries – fresh or chemicalized
Directions:
Prepare cake as directed and bake in 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 greased pan. Cool well.
Make the topping: Dissolve pudding with milk. Set aside. Mix cream cheese with cool whip. Add pudding. Blend well and spread on cake.
Drain pineapple well and spread on topping. Sprinkle/garnish with shredded coconut, crushed walnuts, and cherry halves.

From Marion Sellig. What in the heck is up with baking dish sizes? I made this as a two-layered round cake. Bake a cake on a random day and poof. Instant party! Sometimes regular days need to be special.
