Grandma’s Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 & 1/3 C sugar
  • 1/2 C Crisco oil
  • 8 oz canned Pumpkin
  • 1/3 C water
  • 1 3/4 C flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • walnuts and raisins

Directions:

Grease a loaf pan with the nasty shortening, then coat with flour. Beat eggs, sugar, and oil. Add pumpkin and water. Beat well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bake.

Oven Temp:

325 for 40 mins then 300 for 40 more minutes

Makes: one loaf

From Grandma Marion Sellig – the Master. According to Zach, raisins are dried up deer turds so never use raisins in something you’d like to make for him. We substitute in chocolate chips.
