Grandma Grafton’s Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Ingredients:

A.

  • 1/2 C butter
  • 1 C sugar
  • 2 eggs

B.

  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 C flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 C walnuts, chopped and dredge with flour
  •  1/2 C sugar mixed with cinnamon

Directions:

Preheat 350. Mix up the A ingredients and combine the B ingredients. Fold these two together alternately. Mix well. Pour half the batter into a greased and floured bundt cake pan. Sprinkle half cinnamon sugar over it. Add remainder batter and sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon sugar over it. Spread nuts on top. Poke with a finger. Bake 30-35 mins.
